Nascido em Leucate em 1587; falecido em Avignon, 28 de julho de 1661. Foi membro da Companhia de Jesus, reitor dos colégios jesuítas em Aix, Nîmes e Avignon, e Provincial de Lyons. Compôs diversas obras devocionais sobre a Santíssima Virgem, São José e os santos, e um "Pensez-y-bien", que teve grande circulação e foi traduzido para vários idiomas. As únicas de suas obras traduzidas para o inglês são "Pious Remarks upon the Life of St. Joseph", publicada em 1600; as "Glories of St. Joseph" (Dublin, 1835); e "Devotions to St. Joseph", editada pelo Rev. G. Tickell, S.J. (Londres, 187- [sic]).
Born at Leucate in 1587; died at Avignon, 28 July, 1661. He was a member of the Society of Jesus, rector of the Jesuit colleges at Aix, Nîmes, and Avignon, and Provincial of Lyons. He composed a number of devotional works on the Blessed Virgin, St. Joseph, and the saints, and a "Pensez-y-bien", which latter had a large circulation and has been translated into several languages.
